Marte Crow

Marte crow has studied drawing, painting, photography and computer graphics at Scottsdale Community college and  Arizona State University.  She has shown art and photography in Arizona (Scottsdale, Prescott and Phoenix) as well as New York City and Hutchinson, Kansas.  She had a life time retrospective at Gallery Artlandia in 2016.  In Hutchinson she has volunteered as a literacy tutor for the Library and has painted murals for the historical European Apartments and Salvation Army.
Marte believes that studying the art of history, mythology, theatre, dance, film, science etc. is an intrinsic aspect of the art of storytelling. She believes that storytelling is the goal of her painting classes, whether the story be a literal and figurative one, or the drama of subtle fields of color and their interplay with each other.

Marte Crow will be the instructor for the Adult Acrylic Painting Class that will take place Sept. 7 - Nov. 9. For more information on her class, click the button below.
