Third Thursday: Make a Bowl to Fight Hunger

Join the Hutchinson High School Art Department and Students to make bowls for our upcoming EMPTY BOWLS FUNDRAISER to fight hunger in our community. We will set up throwing wheels and tables for hand building bowls on Third Thursday, August 15th from 5:30 – 7:30. You can find us at the Hutchinson Art Center at 5th and Washington Street. The bowls you make will be sold at our EMPTY BOWLS FUNDRAISER event which will be held in October. EMPTY BOWLS is and international project to fight hunger, organized by artists and art organizations on a community level. We are asking for the community to come and help us make bowls.  Your bowl will help feed someone in need.  The bowls will be sold in October and the funds will be given to the Reno County Food Bank helping feed those in our community. No one should be hungry, and this is our way of helping eliminate hunger in Reno County.
