The Hutchinson Art Center is celebrating 75 years in 2024!
Selections of the Hutchinson Art Association Permanent Collection will be on display in the Main Gallery during the months of June, July, and August. The exhibition will span the seven-plus decades of the organization bringing the arts to Hutchinson, KS!

FRONT GALLERY: ARTWORK BY JENNIFER WEIGEL
JULY 5th to 31st, 2024
The Hutchinson Art Center is excited to feature the work of McPherson artist Jennifer Weigel in our Front Gallery for the month of July.
Jennifer Weigel is a multi-disciplinary mixed media conceptual artist. Weigel utilizes a wide range of media to convey her ideas, including assemblage, drawing, fibers, installation, jewelry, painting, performance, photography, sculpture, video and writing. Much of her work touches on themes of beauty, identity (especially gender identity), memory & forgetting, and institutional critique. Weigel’s art has been exhibited nationally in all 50 states and has won numerous awards.
This exhibition will be on display in the Front Gallery from July 5th - 31st, 2024.

This annual exhibit features many of Kansas’ most prestigious artists in a showcase designed to highlight a diverse range of art styles and mediums. The featured artists support our organization in so many ways throughout the year, and we dearly appreciate their belief in our organization and the work we do together for our community.

MAIN GALLERY: PAINTINGS BY ANDY BROWN
NOVEMBER 22nd to JANUARY 4th, 2024
The Hutchinson Art Center is proud to show the work of North Newton artist Andy Brown in our Main Gallery during the months of November and December.
Andy Brown has been actively painting since the mid-1990s. Andy graduated in 1974 from KU with a BFA in Painting and Sculpture. He works with geometric shapes and primary colors, with each painting being dominated in turn by blue, yellow, red and green. Many of his works reveal experiments with the Golden Mean ratio and Fibonacci numbers. Andy resides in North Newton.
This exhibition will be on display in the Main Gallery from November 22nd - January 4th, 2024.
