Rachel Foster explores relationships in the context of family life, and through the suggestion of the inner life of the mind. By combining chaotic scenes and patterning, with the dissociated gaze or her subjects, she draws a comparison between the toxic environment of the outside world, and the quiet complexity of the internal struggle.
