Exhibition Statement:
“How is the ordinary used to create something truly extraordinary? The answer, of course, is found within our own environment, an inward focus that came about during these unusual and uncertain times. Cardboard as raw material for a pin-hole camera to create paper photographic negatives. Chemistry created from household items, such as instant coffee and salt, to develop and fix the photographs. Combined with a great deal of experimentation and testing, we were able to find something unique out of the commonplace.”
