The Hutchinson Art Center is proud to feature the work Hutchinson artist Don Fullmer in our Main Gallery during the month of December into January.

Don Fullmer is a painter whose works are the creative culmination of a lifelong quest and desire for knowledge.

Stylistically, Fullmer’s influences include abstract artists, such as Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, and Richard Diebenkorn, whose techniques Fullmer experimented with and helped him develop his own artistic process. He also has a passion for printmaking and finds inspiration in the study of culture, history, myth, nature, religion, and science.

Fullmer’s work is not just a formal artistic exercise, but a way for him to visually communicate his thoughts with the wider world.

This exhibition will be on display in the Main Gallery from December 5th, 2025 - January 13th, 2026.
