The Hutchinson Art Center is proud to host a workshop where you can learn the foundations of oil painting, led by Wichita artist and teacher Yulla Vega!

In this beginner-friendly 3-day workshop, you'll explore how to safely use the solvents, paints, and supplies along with essentials such as techniques in color mixing, brushwork, and layering. Through step-by-step instructions, live tutorials, and guidance you'll learn to create your own paintings while developing a solid foundation in oil painting.

Schedule:

September 26th, 27th, and 28th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM each day

Class Tuition Fee:

$85 tuition for non-members
$75 for Hutchinson Art Center Members
