The Hutchinson Art Center is happy to host the work of photographer Dale Grosbach in our Front Gallery during the month of March and into April.

Orang-Utan - Person of the Forest features intimate black-and-white images of Bornean Orang-utans in their native jungle home of Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo). The phrase ‘person of the forest’ is the English translation of the name ‘orang-utan’ from the local language. These images were taken in early 2025.

Dale Grosbach is a life-long photographer. He and his wife have recently relocated to Hutchinson, Kansas. Grosbach has been using digital cameras to capture images since 2002. In recent years, he has traveled extensively, capturing landscapes and wildlife in various locations around the world.

This exhibition will be on display in the Front Gallery from March 27th - April 25th, 2026.
