Vibraphone Solo Event with Jackson Graham

Jackson Graham ProfilePic.jpg

Come join us for an evening of solo vibraphone compositions featuring musician Jackson Graham. Graham is a percussionist currently based in Lawrence, KS. Born in Hutchinson, he has been an active musician for over fifteen years. In his youth, he was a drummer for multiple groups and toured throughout the Midwest. Since 2014, he has been studying percussion and performing in solo and ensemble settings. Now focusing on the Vibraphone, he is interested in exploring the expressive and ambient qualities of the instrument.

Currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Kansas under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Compitello, he received his Bachelor of Music from Wichita State University in 2018 under Prof. Gerald Scholl. Graham also studied with Ginger Zyskowski, whom he credits for exposing him to the world of percussion and instilling in him a love for music.

Free admission, open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
