Permanent Collection on Display - Celebrating our 70th Anniversary!
The Hutchinson Art Center would like to invite you to join us in celebrating our 70th Anniversary! We will be having an Opening Reception on Friday, August 23rd, where we will be displaying all of our fine art pieces that have been collected over the past 70 years. We will be kicking off this wonderful occasion by unveiling our new outdoor bronze sculpture created by Mike Livingston. Also, we will have lifelong patrons and past and present board members speak about the Permanent Collection and the past decades of the Hutchinson Art Association. The HAC wants to give thanks to the Humanities Kansas Organization for awarding us with the Culture Preservation Grant earlier this year. This grant enabled us to hire a Registrar Intern to fully access and digitize our collection. We couldn’t have done all of this without their support.
