Main Gallery: Dialogue Reconstructed 2022

  • Hutchinson Art Center 405 N Washington St Hutchinson, KS 67501 USA (map)

Dialogue Reconstructed is an invitational juried art exhibition at the Hutchinson Art Center. We are proud to partner with local organizations including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP Hutchinson Chapter) and the Hutchinson Reno Arts and Humanities (HRAH) Council for this event. We are committed to growing the diversity of our community’s arts representation by spotlighting works of art by artists of color from Kansas and the surrounding states in this exhibition.

We are encouraging artists to showcase their work to celebrate diversity in our communities. There is no specific theme requirement for submission. The selected winners' artwork will then be presented to the HAC Collections Committee to be considered for addition into the HAC Permanent Collection.

The exhibition will be judged by three Kansas artists: Sia Joung (Sterling College Assistant Professor of Art), Steve Curiel (Hutchinson painter and tattoo artist) and Tarmine Guichette (First Place Award winner of the 2020 Dialogue Reconstructed exhibition; Kansas City artist).

Call for artists! The Hutchinson Art Center is offering $1,750 in awards during our 2022 Dialogue Reconstructed Juried Exhibition, Entry is FREE.
