2026 KIDS Summer Art camp: DRAW ANYTHING!
Join us for Kids Summer Art Camp at the Hutchinson Art Center
This year’s art camp centers on the thing most kids want to learn the most: how to actually draw what they want. Kids will work on drawing techniques that no one else dares to teach at this level. These techniques are the foundation to drawing anything and everything whether it’s from imagination, in a photo, or sitting right in front of them. This isn’t going to be your typical crafty art camp. Prepare your little artists to expand their artistic skills and come out ready to make whatever their heart desires!
Classes will be different each week. The best experience will be signing up for both weeks, as week two builds upon week one, but has also been designed to be introductory enough that students only able to attend week two will not feel as though they are behind or missing anything.
This year’s art camp will take place over June 9th - 12th and June 16th - 19th. Students are divided into two groups: Group A (ages 6-9) and Group B (ages 10-12). Group A will meet from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, while Group B will meet from 11:00 AM to Noon at the Hutchinson Art Center. Grown-ups can sign up their children up for Week One (June 9th - 12th), Week Two (June 16th - 19th), or both weeks.
For Hutchinson Art Center members, a single week costs $30 per child, and both weeks cost $60 per child. For non-members, a single week costs $32 per child and both weeks cost $64 per child. Want to advantage of the membership discount? Learn more and become a member by going HERE.
Grown-ups can register their child by purchasing a spot using the button below. Hurry! Registration is limited to 15 students/group per week, with registration closing on Saturday, May 30th at 4:30 PM.
Meet the Teacher
The fabulous Hannah Beam returns to teach art camp this year!
Hannah Beam is a local Hutchinson artist who specializes in live painting and collaboration. Her background in art education, graphic design, and small business add unique perspectives to her practice. She studied art education at Hutchinson Community College and Wichita State University. When she's not having fun making art, she is having fun as raising her young son!
